Lomas Barbudal Monkey Project Blog
In a normal year, I would be spending the summer in Costa Rica, collecting data and engaging in community outreach projects, to let the communities near the forest hear about the research we are doing, and to gain their assistance with conservation-related projects. We had many big outreach plans for this summer, which is the 30th anniversary of the monkey project! However, COVID-19 does not permit us to visit schools or have other forms of direct contact. Therefore, my daughter Kate and I have decided to create a blog, both in English and in Spanish, in which we hope to convey interesting information about the monkeys themselves, and about the scientific process of studying monkey behavior. We hope that you enjoy these stories.
